It would be ideal if a garment your purchased works for multiple occasions. It's also the rule I tend to follow for my fashion inquiries. However, this romper I grabbed from Zara sale's rack really gave me a hard time. It was intended for a party or a semi-formal dinner, but I liked it so much I just wanted it to work for day time wear, let's say work, as well so I can keep it. 

It took me a few tries to figure out this outfit. This one didn't come to me naturally. I think the shorts part of this dress is out of my comfort zone for work. I finally used this scarf-vest to hide the sexy part, my rear, so I feel confident enough to wear it to work. Plus, I work at a very creative environment, so it's more forgiving.
